Bishop!
MEET with all your gear at the Faculty Parking Lot D near the southeast entrance to Bldg 60. BE THERE BY ______a.m. The earlier we get packed up the sooner we can leave; those kind folks who volunteer to drive (THANK YOU!!!) should be 1/2 hour early so we can retrieve the vans (THANK YOU AGAIN!!!). Gear should be in duffel bags or something similar, perhaps with a plastic garbage bag around it. Be aware that we are going to pack it all into a van, so stuff might get crushed. Also, MAKE SURE you have your Lunch and Day Pack, as well as ample Water, with you in your seat!
PLEASE BE SURE YOU'VE TURNED IN YOUR INSURANCE SHEET.
PLEASE WRITE YOUR NAME on any water bottles you bring! SERIOUSLY!
We MIGHT be camping at French Camp Campground - or Aspen Group Campground. You should check out the conditions at Mammoth Lakes, which has relatively similar weather conditions to our campsite. Also check out this Bishop weather/webcam...and remember that the town of Bishop is at much lower elevation than our campsite.
Below are listed items that you should pack in order to enjoy the overnight field trip as much as possible. People who forget items with asterisks (*) are likely to be miserable, so don't let it be you!!
