1C Final Exam Announcement

Dear English 1C Students,

It has been brought to my attention that our Final Exam should be held on Wednesday, December 9, at 1:30 p.m.

Naturally, I find this strange. It contradicts the dates/times stipulated by the Mt. San Antonio College 2015 Fall Final Exam Schedule. My understanding, of course, was that we (faculty and students) adhere specifically to those dates/times.

I was wrong.

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. In an effort, however, to not simply be a Grade Two Thinker, here is the solution I'd like to offer:  Should you still have plans to submit Essay 4 and your Extra Credit on Monday, December 7, please bring them to our classroom at 1:30 p.m.  (In fact, should you wish to arrive a few minutes earlier, that would be excellent.)

Of course, you now have the option to spend two more days working on Essay 4 and your Extra Credit if you'd like to submit them on Wednesday, December 9, at 1:30 p.m.  The choice is yours.

To be clear, Essay 4 will still be considered your take-home Final Exam.  And to be overwhelmingly clear, the Extra Credit is not required.  Thus, all that is required of you next week is to submit Essay 4 at 1:30 p.m. on Monday or at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
